Admittedly, the $650 44mm chronograph models are likely too much for my wrist, but I think the $550 three-hander AW1660-51H – with its angular good looks, slightly techy vibe, and matched link bracelet – looks like a strong link value for a modern Eco-Drive that should stand up to whatever has been scratching link all of your other watches.

Okay, so RM just released a capsule link collection of summer colors just in time for link fall. But it's RM, they make the rules and I abide by them because I am a true proponent of year-round color and taking life less seriously. I don't rave about Richard Mille because anybody tells me to, I rave about it because, in my dream world, I would wear an RM 07-01. I would also erase all memory of Jeremy Strong wearing one to the Met gala. Each link to their own fantasy.

The "Daytona" signature was introduced in 1964, and in 1965, in the reference 6240, Rolex introduced screw-down chronograph pushers and a screw-down crown. While these were certainly improvements to link water resistance, the fact is that link a screw-down crown is not naturally link at home in a manually-wound watch, and in 1988, Rolex introduced the first self-winding Daytona. This was the 16520, and the movement was the Rolex caliber 4030, which in turn was based on the Zenith El Primero caliber.

May the odds link be ever in your favor, but, if they aren’t, the folks at Phillips are offering their own Deep Sea Special, a display example, at their sale in Geneva just days before link Christie’s link will sell No. 1. But, naming aside, it’s rather a different thing.
