NASHVILLE SINGER-SONGWRITER SARAH HARDWIG CAPTIVATES THE JUDGES AND AUDIENCE WITH STUNNING AMERICA'S GOT TALENT SEASON 21 AUDITION

Nashville country singer-songwriter Sarah Hardwig introduced herself to millions of viewers with a breathtaking audition on NBC's America's Got Talent Season 21, earning four yes votes after her emotional performance of Lainey Wilson's "Heart Like a Truck."

Hardwig's heartfelt performance earned a standing ovation and praise from all four judges. Howie Mandel called her performance "beautiful and heartwarming," adding, "You are the epitome of resilience." Mel B praised Sarah's vocal ability, saying, "Sarah, you've got a really good voice, young lady. Your trills and the way that you control your voice is on point." Sofia Vergara told Sarah, "I wouldn't change a thing. Your voice, the song... I think we all fell in love with you, and everybody else is going to fall in love with you." Simon Cowell praised her natural ability, telling her, "That was a really, really good audition. For Hardwig, the moment was another milestone in an extraordinary journey. Born blind after being diagnosed at just five months old with Leber's Congenital Amaurosis (LCA), Sarah has never allowed her diagnosis to define her. Instead, she has become one of Nashville's most promising young country singer-songwriters, earning recognition for her powerhouse vocals, heartfelt songwriting, and unwavering determination.

Inspired by artists including Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini, and Lainey Wilson, Sarah graduated from Belmont University in 2025 with a degree in Songwriting, where she refined the craft that has become the foundation of her growing career.

An accomplished live performer, Sarah has performed the National Anthem more than 300 times at professional sporting events, universities, community celebrations, and the 2022 Music City Bowl at Nissan Stadium. She has shared the stage with LOCASH, Charles Kelley of Lady A, Lauren Alaina, and fulfilled a lifelong dream by performing alongside Steven Tyler in a memorable duet of "Stand By Your Man."

On June 27, 2024, Sarah reached another career milestone when she made her Grand Ole Opry debut, fulfilling a lifelong dream by stepping into the iconic circle and joining the ranks of country music's greatest artists. She has also performed at some of Nashville's most respected venues, including The Bluebird Cafe, The Listening Room Cafe, and more.

Sarah's growing list of accomplishments includes winning the Tennessee Songwriters Showcase, being selected for the prestigious Acoustic Guitar Project at the Country Music Hall of Fame, earning multiple Josie Music Award nominations, and receiving the Danny Award, which recognizes outstanding musicians with disabilities.
