Review: Country Duo Wester Takes Us for a Wild Ride on their "Redneck Rollercoaster"

Introducing Wester: the newest country music duo made up of brother and sister team, Pearl Clarkin and Rafe Wester. Picture Gretchen Wilson's "Here for the Party" meets Big & Rich's "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" and you have Wester's debut single "Redneck Rollercoaster."

You know when Miley Cyrus sings it's definitely not a Nashville party in "Party in the U.S.A."? "Redneck Rollercoaster" is the epitome of a Nashville party. Honky-tonks, Johnny Cash posters, cowboy boots and bachelorette parties are some of Nashville's staples on Lower Broadway, along with requests to hear Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Freebird" or Garth Brooks' "Callin' Baton Rouge." Music City really is one of the best places in the world for country music fans and Wester has moved to the top of our list of performers to see live.

With traditional country vocals mixed with a southern rock, edgy vibe, Wester's debut single will have you wanting to hop on a pedal tavern and join the fun. As the song says, we might not make it out alive, but what a way to go! We can't wait to hear more from this rockin' duo.
