Official Video for “Go Tell It On The Mountain” featuring Home Free Out Now
Country supergroup and Christmas enthusiasts, Texas Hill (Craig Wayne Boyd, Casey James, Adam Wakefield) start a new holiday tradition this year with the release of Christmas Carols, Vol. 1.
The holiday-loving trio took it upon themselves to rehearse and go Christmas caroling around each of their families’ neighborhoods in Nashville, Tennessee last year. This year, they took it a step further by recording four Christmas carols, including their most recent collaboration of “Go Tell It on the Mountain” with all-vocal group Home Free. The music video, out now, showcases harmonies like you have never seen before in a picturesque Wyoming setting.

“Since there are three of us in the band, we each brought our favorite Christmas song to the table,” explained Casey James. “‘Go Tell It On The Mountain’ was Craig’s pick and ended up being the one Home Free wanted to join us on. ‘What Child is This’ was my pick, and ‘It Came Upon a Midnight Clear’ was Adam’s. We added ‘We Three Kings’ to close it out since there are three of us and came up with all new arrangements for the harmonies. We can’t wait to take these out on the road this Christmas and do some caroling as well!”
Texas Hill hopes this is a gift that keeps on giving by releasing a new volume of carols each year.

Texas Hill is instantly identifiable, thanks to its well-developed signature sound: a proud, in-your-face harmonic wall. They released their debut EP in September 2020 featuring their debut single at Texas Country Radio, “Four Roses.” They recently finished recording their debut album, set for release in January 2022.
