Over a smooth R&B beat and warbling synths, A STARR assertively crushes society’s gender norms as she speaks up about being interested in and doing the things that aren’t typically expected of girls. In the accompanying music video, directed by Patrick Tohill (NF, Kyd The Band, Jessie Murph), she shows up ready to take on anyone who tries to limit her capabilities, showcasing her love of sports from dirt biking and skateboarding to apparel like Jordan sneakers and suits.
“Tomboy” is the second offering from A STARR following her debut single “No Filter” which was co-written with Grammy-nominated Songwriter/Producer Poo Bear (Justin Bieber, Usher, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez) and produced by Grammy-nominated DJ/Producer Shndō (Justin Bieber's "Peaches"). The track quickly garnered over two million streams following its release and finds A STARR unapologetically and authentically introducing herself to the world.
