NASHVILLE — Rising country singer/songwriter, Johnny Dailey, released his new track “Beers In It” today Friday, May 27, 2022. The new track and accompanying music video enjoyed an online premiere with Taste of Country where the outlet raved about the “carefree, melodic jaunt.” The song, which was produced by Daniel Ross (Morgan Wallen, Gabby Barrett, Chase Rice) and was co-written by Johnny, Randy Montana (Luke Combs, Carly Pearce, Parker McCollum) and Dave Turnbull (Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Montgomery Gentry), ushers listeners into the summer months with its lighthearted lyrics and Johnny’s signature coastal flair. “I wanted a song that people could listen to on their boat or with the windows rolled down in their car,” Dailey shared exclusively with Taste of Country .“It’s one of those songs that puts you in a good mood when you turn it on.”
The music video, which was filmed in Folly Beach, South Carolina right outside of Charleston, celebrates time well spent outdoors with good company and an ice cold beer. South Carolina holds a special place in Johnny’s heart, as it’s where he lived for over a decade and honed his craft as a songwriter playing his original songs up and down the city’s infamous King Street. Earlier this year, Johnny released his debut EP, Dillashaw. The six-track collection helped to further cement Johnny as a breakout artist in the genre as noted by Billboard’s inclusion of the Alabama native on their 2022 Artists to Watch list.
