“With the plan of recording my first single, there was no question on how I would go about it. I already had many songs under my belt, but I wanted something fresh, and ‘Like It Was The First Time” was screaming at me to be shared with the world,” expressed Ellingworth. “I asked my good friend Jake Burns if we could get in the studio with his session guys, and the following week, we hit the ground running at Curb Studios with this band of incredible musicians and gave this song wings. I am so excited to share this song with everyone!”

“Brook brought me this song. He asked if we could get a band together and record a full version of it. Literally, it was the first time for him and I to capture a full production recording in Nashville. I have been recording and mixing for 25 years in this town (Nashville), but this project came together like Brook and I had worked together for decades.
