Nashville, Tenn. – September 9, 2024 – Multi-platinum, global entertainer Chris Young is celebrating a new career milestone as “Young Love & Saturday Nights” (Sony Music Nashville/RCA Nashville), the title track to his ambitious 2024 album, tops the Country Aircheck/Mediabase country radio chart this week. His 14th No. 1 single, Young shares the accolade with his co-producers Corey Crowder and Chris DeStefano along with the song’s writers, Ashley Gorley, Jesse Frasure, Josh Thompson and, posthumously, David Bowie. An interpolation of the 1974 hit, “Rebel Rebel,” Young and “Young Love & Saturday Nights” are impressively reaching new audiences 50 years later.
Declared “...a vivid love letter to summertime weekends, old trucks, dive bar bands, and crushes,” (Associated Press), Young “faithfully re-creates the original’s garage-band drum sound and distorted guitar riff, matching up well with the new version’s working-class lyrics,” (Billboard).
“Every number one is special, but this one – my 14th - really hits differently,” shares Young. “To be part of Bowie finding success in country music eight years after his passing is truly an honor and it’s been wild to watch audiences at my live shows reacting to this song that has its roots in a rock staple from 50 years ago. Just wow.”
Three years in the making and packed with countless hours of writing and listening sessions, Young’s latest album, Young Love & Saturday Nights, is available now. The project is 18 songs deep, his most extensive and wide-ranging work to date. Young flexes as a writer on 15 of the album’s 18 sides, is the sole producer on 3 songs, and shares co-producer credits with longtime creative partners, DeStefano and Crowder, on the rest.

This version of link the Portuguese is the thinnest one because it's based on the original movement (the Calibre 982). The movement is really just so gorgeous. You could teach a watchmaking class off this movement because everything is laid out so clearly. As for the case, it's in platinum, which is unusual compared to a link lot of IWCs. I was really, link really tempted to keep it, but it's one of those things where it's just physically a little bit too big for me.
After lunch, we ride back up into the Jura Mountains, link to La link Chaux-de-Fonds, the self-described "metropole horlogère" (watchmaking metropolis), population 40,000, that has been a watchmaking town for 300 years. We drive along Rue Louis-Joseph Chevrolet. (Yep, that Chevrolet: the car pioneer was born link here. So was renowned architect Le Corbusier.) We turn onto Allée du Tourbillon and arrive at Montres Jaquet Droz.
