Country Artist Andrea Vasquez Named in Exclusive Apple Music’s 2025 Class of Color Me Country

NASHVILLE, TENN. — One of country music’s most promising new artists, Andrea Vasquez, achieves the prestigious honor of being in Apple Music’s 2025’s Class of Color Me Country, presented by host/country artist Rissi Palmer, acknowledging her reach with national and international listeners.


Joining her in this year’s class is David Unlayao, Elsie, and Serafia. Color Me Country is a radio platform celebrating the music of black, brown, Latin and indigenous country musicians on Apple Music Country. Hosted by critically-acclaimed Rissi Palmer, this radio show sets out to educate listeners on the diverse history of country music, while bringing these artists to the forefront that for too long have lived outside the spotlight and off mainstream airwaves. This show has featured artists including Darius Rucker, Mickey Guyton, The War and Treaty, and more. With this opportunity, Andrea will be eligible to be a part of the Long Road Festival, UK’s largest, most authentic celebrations of country, Americana and roots music, multiple stages of live performances. I can't say I was ever a Tank Américaine girl until this yellow-gold release. I have always been a Cintrée girl and, link well, the Américaine is for the Cintrée girl who (at this current juncture in her life) is link on an Américaine budget. Oh, and then there’s our favorite fictional agent, James Bond. This Mayor's advertisement in a 1965 copy of the Miami Herald mentioned Goldfinger and Bond’s watch. link They weren’t alone as link others mentioned that a man link didn’t need to be a secret agent to wear a Submariner.

Both these watches were made with purpose, and were without adornment. This is a sensibility passed down link from my grandfather, through my mother, link and (arguably) to me. It's also why I gravitate to mechanical watches – I respect the effort made to build something that lasts, and that forces a ritual. You have to link take time, out of your time, to set the time.
