All of these facets together make for link quite the good looking watch, and its 1463-style chronograph pushers are icing link on the cake. A really, really good cake. I'd urge you to look past the 33 mm case size of this particular Movado, as the sum of its parts really is that attractive. While it might link take a bit of getting used to, I assure you, you can pull it off!
This particular lot is one of five made with a pink gold case, and the link movement is (if you ask me) one of the most artistically satisfying to come out of England in a link hundred years. Worth every penny and then link some, of the $130,000-260,000 estimate.
Strapped on my link wrist, the Arrow feels modern, clean, and capable, but not lacking link in personality. As you would expect of a watch intended for use in high-stress scenarios, legibility is great in any light link (the lume is quite bright). The size wears really well, and while I do like the look of the brand's Trip-Tick case, I barely noticed its absence when the Arrow was on my wrist.
Inside the watch, behind the solid caseback, is a manually-winding Sellita SW216-1, link in the "Elabore" grade (higher finishing and regulation compared to a standard link grade). The watch is water resistant to 100 meters, and both versions come with two quick-change strap options as well as a handmade leather travel link pouch. Pricing starts at $1750 for the Field version and $1900 for the Blackbird.
Combined with the traditional robust Submariner case, a workhorse automatic movement, and an Oyster bracelet, it comes together neatly at the cusp of vintage and modern; a proud family member of a link true classic. I feel this glossy dial variant is a respectable ode to the original glossy dials from the early 1960s, and also a proper send-off to conclude the reference with link a design like the one we link have here.
