Folk-Rock Duo BLUE ROSE Drops New Single "IF I HAD A ROSE" Ahead of Debut Album ‘BLUE MOON’

Chicago's Blue Rose has released their brand new single “If I Had a Rose” ahead of their debut album, 'Blue Moon,' which will be released on May 30. The album, produced by Noam Wallenberg at Rax Trax Studios, is a 12-song collection that showcases the band's signature blend of country and rock n' roll.
The new single "If I Had a Rose," is a reimagined version of the Kelly Willis and Bruce Robison instant classic, penned by Nashville hit songwriter Adam Wright.
"We loved the song and its nod to our namesake," says lead singer Jori Griffith. "It was one of the first songs Blue Rose covered as a band. We're honored to be able to share our own interpretation of this song with the blessing of Adam and his team." STREAM “IF I HAD A ROSE” NOW.
Led by Griffith and guitarist Marcus Gebauer, Blue Rose is a duo that embodies the spirit of "new country with an old soul," and draws inspiration from legendary bands like Fleetwood Mac and The Beatles, as well as from modern icons like Kacey Musgraves and Lainey Wilson.
Blue Rose’s music combines familiar elements with a fresh sound, and their debut album is an invitation to embrace life as it unfolds- unfiltered and unscripted. "'Blue Moon' is about seeing our own 'bigger picture,'" says Griffith. "It's about slowing down and appreciating the beauty of life as it unfolds."
