Download and listen to “So Far, So Good” at smarturl.it/Sofarsogoodjs. “This song has been in the back of my mind since Penn Penington played it for me about eight years ago,” expressed Jeannie Seely. “I cannot tell you how happy I am to finally record it, and even more excited to hear it on the air, thanks to Curb Records and my great promotion team!” “We have always loved sharing the stage with our ‘sister’ at the Opry so we were excited when she asked us to record this with her. Being from Texas, we knew our part right away on this great Texas swing song!” exclaimed The Whites (Sharon and Cheryl White). “Darlin’ since we met I don’t regret One single step we’ve made We’re taking it slow and we both know That’s the way to make love stay Cause people who rush in and find it’s a crush when That don’t turn out like it should So we’ll stay where we are cause we like it so far So far, so good We both feel the passion inside And our love is easy to see Taking one step at a time We’ll know if it’s meant to be Cause people who rush in and find it’s a crushed wind That don’t turn out like it should So we’ll stay where we are cause we like it so far So far, so good” What Jeannie Seely fans are saying: “Having listened to this album numerous times I think it is aptly named, it is indeed a classic. Not a weak song here and all performed by an artist at the top of her game. Lots of great singers out there, but most sound like they are singing from a handheld sheet. With Jeannie you feel like she's letting you in on something private she's lived through in her life, she draws you in and makes you feel you've been through something yourself at the end of her songs. Her vocals, her phrasing of the words, her facial expressions, her eyes all add to make the song believable as can be seen in her videos on YouTube. In my opinion, these all go to make her more than just a great singer but also a great artist. A great performer of songs. Jeannie you're enriching all our lives with your God-given talent and long may you continue.”-Barty Mullett Congratulations! Jeannie, any song you sing you put your heart and soul into it.
