Country-pop artist Kat Velasco taps into her rock influences on "Rambling Girl," an unapologetic new single that doubles down on her free-spirited, outlaw attitude. The fiery track serves as the latest preview of her forthcoming debut album, Cowboy Complex, arriving later this year.

Written by Kat Velasco, Johnny Gates, and Joey Myron and produced by Johnny Gates, "Rambling Girl" is a fearless declaration of independence wrapped in gritty country-rock production. Fueled by swagger, attitude, and Velasco's unmistakable vocals, the track celebrates living life on your own terms, refusing to conform, and embracing the freedom that comes with chasing the open road. 

Since releasing her debut single, "Cliche Country Song," in 2021, Velasco has steadily carved out her own lane in country music. Her breakout single, "leave me wild," landed on prominent Spotify playlists including New Music Friday Country and Fresh Finds Country, while subsequent releases such as "Call Me," "Name on My Phone," and "Paper Boy" further showcased her evolving artistry. She has been featured on The Nikki & Bri Show, Fame Magazine, National Biz News, and more. The music video for "Call Me" premiered on CMT, and she has shared the stage with artists including BRELAND and Tiera Kennedy.
