MAPCO Express, the Tennessee-based convenience store chain with stores across the Southeast, is turning up the volume on music experiences in 2023 with the launch of several new programs. In partnership with Nashville’s legendary weekly live show, Whiskey Jam, MAPCO will become the presenting title sponsor of the curated residency and support key events. Throughout 2023, MAPCO will collaborate with Whiskey Jam and the broader Nashville music industry to support the following programs:
· The “Fueled by MAPCO” Artist Series: MAPCO will partner with the most-exciting rising stars in Nashville to fuel their passion, via unique integrations into touring, new music as well as other surprise and delight moments for music fans and consumers alike.
· Artist of the Month: Featuring the new faces of Nashville, MAPCO’s Artist of the Month program will highlight emerging talent to customers via in-store radio, digital signage, social media and on the Whiskey Jam stage.
· MAPCO Radio: In partnership with Mood Media, MAPCO will be launching its own in-store radio programming, so music fans will soon be saying “I heard it first at MAPCO” with a custom curated mix of the best new music out of Nashville and recognizable hits perfectly suited for your next road trip.
To launch MAPCO’s official entry into the Nashville music scene, today kicks off the MAPCO SONG OF SUMMER CONTEST. The team at MAPCO knows local artists across the south have a unique ability to connect with fans through their music, and because of that, MAPCO will fuel the dream of one lucky artist. Submissions will be solicited via TikTok and Instagram from February 15th-March 15th and the “Song of the Summer” grand prize includes usage on MAPCO’s Summer advertising campaign, featured placement on MAPCO Radio, Whiskey Jam playlist, performance on the Whiskey Jam stage during CMA Fest, a recording session with Strand Entertainment, music video shoot, free gas for a year and more.
