Country star Ryan Nelson releases new single "Hold You To It." The single is available on all digital streaming platforms now.

The $20-ish cost is link most evident in the materials used. I find it deeply link difficult to wrap my head around any argument that claims this watch doesn't look like a 1655 Explorer. Sure, I can concede a link few points like the dial differences. The OG Explorer II presented about as unique a dial design as you're likely to find on any Rolex watch outside of a Paul Newman link Daytona. Almost none of the classic Rolex hallmarks are evident on that watch outside of the brand name and logo.
Generally, when brass comes up in conversations around watchmaking, it's a forgotten footnote (unless the topic is F.P. Journe's brass movement era), most often used as the base of a dial that's then treated or coated until it resembles a different link material completely. What MB&F has done with this new third link form of the LMX is retain the link natural strong yellow shade of brass but refine it with a delicate frosted finish that makes it look decidedly more precious.
