New Country Artist Mark Taylor Releases Acoustic Version to Latest Release

NASHVILLE, TENN. – After getting off the road playing major country festival bills this year as well as receiving over 123K streams just on Spotify for his critically-acclaimed single Dust Off That Dirt, new country artist Mark Taylor drops an acoustic version for the fans. Dust Off That Dirt – Acoustic as well as the original version is available to stream everywhere digitally.

In its studio form, the track offers a feel-good party anthem that Mark typically kicks his shows off with. Produced by renowned Leland Grant, Mark combined classic country sounds with a pop-rock feel, giving the song an extra edge that captivates the audience and makes it impossible to stop listening. But by stripping away the production and musical decoration, so that it’s just Mark’s warmth and familiar sound coupled with an acoustic guitar, the song takes on a heightened sense of a newly-intimate listening experience for his fans.

Written by Mark and fellow artist Dan Harrison, Dust Off That Dirt has been achieving success since its initial full production release three months ago. Already expanding his reach on Spotify and achieving success on Spotify curated playlists, the full production release has also been added to terrestrial AM/FM radio across the Northeast and Southeast and has received international airplay as well in Australia, Ireland, London, Switzerland, and the U.K. The official music video made its premiere last month on The Country Network, broadcasting to over 40 million households. With more to come including an in-studio music video slated to be released August 21st, Mark is continuously on the road performing, writing new material and in the studio working on brand new music to come out later this year.

“I cannot believe the overwhelming response we are getting with Dust Off That Dirt,” says Mark. “I’m so excited to drop this acoustic version for the fans. They have supported this song immensely and it’s amazing to see the feedback we’re getting on stage and off.”

Mark has played some of the biggest country music festivals thus far in 2023 including Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival (TN), Country Fest (WI), FrogFest (NY), CMA Music Festival (TN), and more. He also partnered up with CALI Distillery for the upcoming launch of his own honey bourbon whiskey – Steel String Signature. Mark took a hands-on approach with every aspect of this, from taste to name choice to design and packaging. “With the name of this whiskey that was inspired by the steel strings I had in my hand for as long as I can remember, I hope that you sit back and remember your favorite song as you sip a glass of my handcrafted Steel String Signature Whiskey.” Partnered with CALI Distillery, this limited edition spirit is currently available online through their retail partner, Great American Craft Spirits.
