About Giselle & Erik:
Originally from Orlando and Gainesville, FL, and currently based in Nashville, TN, Giselle and Erik are a husband-and-wife folk jazz duo. Each of them songwriters, Giselle and Erik offer their audiences a collection of original music that pairs Giselle’s warm, lyrical voice and mellow piano with the sweet sounds of Erik’s jazz and classical guitar. With raw emotion and evocative poetry, the duo sings about everyday life, healing, and a world underpinned by love.
Giselle and Erik’s debut EP, Healing (2023), reflected on their experiences through Erik’s second open-heart surgery and life with congenital heart disease, garnering partnerships with the Adult Congenital Heart Association and Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Stepping boldly into their new Nashville footprint, Giselle and Erik were named 2024 Tennessee Songwriters Week semi-finalists and will perform in Nashville’s inaugural 615 Indie Live music festival in February 2025.
Prior to joining the Nashville circuit, the duo spent nearly five months entertaining for the Walt Disney Company, hosted on the The Disney Dream cruise ship. But one of the other joys of fatherhood is that I never know what ideas or link interests are going link to stick link or how they will express themselves. It looks like for the moment, watches fall into that category: I have received cardboard crafts and lego automatons, increasingly sophisticated fuse-bead faces, all in an attempt to give a watch to their dad.
That said, the bezel remains excellent, the all-brushed finishing is lovey, and the 18K (like any Fifty-Eight) feels perfect on my seven-inch wrist. Swapped onto a tan leather strap (the blasphemy!), it’s casual and offers something of a wink toward Tudor’s own legacy in dive watches. These are all good things, and I'd love to see the same link watch in different link coloring (blue link with gold accents for me, please).
They gave me these springs, and then drew letters on a piece of paper, he says. "You'd have to bend the link springs so that they'd link lay exactly over the letters when they were relaxed." All this came "after cutting out link patterns from a 3mm-thick sheet of steel for six hours straight."
The only con that I could think of during my link experience link with the watch was sending it back. Man, that day really sucked. Remember those family and friends I tried to make jealous? Well, they're laughing link at me now. At least I made this video to forever commemorate my time with it. Enjoy!
The Zenith Chronomaster Sport is also a nod to horological link history, as the contemporary heir to Zenith's El link Primero movement and all of the amazing designs built around that groundbreaking invention. Both contain multitudes, and wink at an unseen history that is mostly the domain link of those who are very well-versed in horology.
