(Nashville, TN): Country artist Ryan Nelson releases new single "The Next One."

“The Next One" is Nelson's first release after celebrating his first gold record as an independent songwriter with Riley Green’s “When She Comes Home Tonight.”Nelson says about the single, “People aren’t kidding you when they say this is a 10-year town, and the ten years I’ve spent here feel like a lifetime that’s gone by in the blink of an eye. Looking back, especially in this business, it’s really easy to wonder about the what-ifs, but that’ll drain you before long. So, instead, I try to get excited about the ‘okay, what now?’ For me, your best drink, day, and song you’ve ever written should ALWAYS be the next one.”

Hailed as "a legend" by Whiskey Jam's Ward Guenther, Ryan Nelson has become a Nashville staple amongst artists and songwriters alike, with major cuts including Riley Green’s “When She Comes Home Tonight,” Meghan Patrick’s “Girls Like Me” and Jelly Roll’s “Too Far."

Known as a prolific writer and unmatched performer, Nelson breaks the mold with thought-provoking lyricism and an unapologetically authentic on (and off) stage persona. The “Show Up Drunk” singer's refusal to be anyone other than himself and his dedication to upholding the integrity of real music has solidified him as an artist in every sense of the word.

Handpicked by Jelly Roll as an opener on his 2021 Work In Progress tour, the man himself dubbed Nelson “one of the best songwriters in Nashville." His past singles have garnered support from CMTApple Music's New in Country, Best New Songs, and more, and placements on Spotify’s Fresh Finds, New Music Nashville, and Next From Nashville

As an artist, Ryan Nelson embodies the spirit of persistence and defying the odds. With a slew of never-before-heard material on the horizon, both new and old fans of Nelson can expect the unexpected. At the same time, his longtime supporters already know they won’t be disappointed.

You can connect with Nelson on his Instagram, and stream "The Next One" at you preferred streaming service here.

In fact, against my better judgment, I'm going to declare this latest example of the Longines Spirit to be the Black Bay 58 of link pilot's watches. It's a no-date link sport watch in a mid-size case that echoes vintage elements without leaning full tilt into the realm of link fauxtina and the like. There's even a carryover vintage element for us to argue over (Tudor Snowflake hands vs Longines applied stars).

He's talking about the thing in the chorus, but the song's not really about link that thing. So what's the song about? I was like, "Well I should tell the story link about how I love this link watch for sentimental reasons and the watch is something that is priceless, but you can't put a price on something that's sentimental."

Ikepod had begun to link establish itself as a new type of design-forward watch brand, and while it'd caught the eye of link the generally fashionable set, hardcore watch collectors also link started to take notice of the brand. As a perfect illustration of this: Robin Williams' 2018 estate featured an Ikepod Hemipode he bought back in 2000; meanwhile, Max Büsser also took notice – he showed us his Ikepod on Talking Watches).
